Star comes from a family rooted in service and spiritual leadership. Her father is a respected pastor in the community with 39 years of pastoral experience, while her mother is an ordained elder and devoted prayer warrior, wearing many hats within the church.
Professionally, Star is a nurse, dedicated to caring for others with compassion and skill. Despite the challenges she has faced, she is known for her radiant smile, which has a way of lighting up any room she enters.
Star holds a doctorate in theology and has made notable accomplishments throughout her career and education. She was featured in two local stage plays, nominated for the “Drive It Forward” program at Nissan in Dalton, and graduated valedictorian of her plumbing technician program. She has also earned several awards, including the Geriatric Award, the Grace Scholastic Award, and the Hamilton Medical Center Med-Surg Award upon receiving her Licensed Practical Nurse Certificate over 20 years ago. Additionally, she was selected to attend the University of North Georgia’s summer program for incoming seniors in high school.
